Till We Meet Again is a passion project created by Sam Sinclair to explore the teenage mind through letters.
Sam Sinclair is a pseudonym, of course. Sam is a high school student and wishes to remain anonymous, just like those who write a letter, so that participants will feel more comfortable sharing their writing.
Sam created Till We Meet Again as a passion project. Sam believes that writing is the superior way to learn more about yourself and that reading is the best way to get into the author’s mind. Sam also wonders daily about what thoughts teenagers have before they are spurred into action, the delay time between the thought and the action, and whether there is any thought at all sometimes. Sam also dreams of publishing a book someday. So, what better way to mash this belief, question, and dream into a passion project than Till We Meet Again?
Letters are usually written to be shared, and for this reason, we hold back when writing them. What if we wrote knowing the subject wouldn’t see it? What if we were anonymous? Would we not hold back then? Sam hopes so. TWMA is seeing how letters are written when we aren’t holding back.
This insight, along with a curated collection of letters, will (hopefully) be published as an anthology. The publication will tell the story of the many hearts that wrote and submitted their letters to this project, and analyze the mind of a teenager when they aren’t faced with judgment or consequences.

Frequently asked questions
Why should I write a letter?
Well, thanks for being blunt. I would like to say that you should write a letter to support my passion project, but that probably won’t convince you. Here’s the big answer: Letters are just better than any other form of communication, in my opinion. They allow you to think out your words and form them in an effective way so that the receiver can understand you better than they might through, say, an emotionally charged text so long it takes up the whole screen. We’ve all been there. But truthfully, that’s not what texting was made for. And, letters have health benefits! Who knew? In a world where expressing ourselves is most often public and met with unnecessary judgment, letters have a way of easing that reality into something more private and welcoming. And with TWMA’s anonymity rule, you’re freed from the shackles of pressure and fear of rejection. So, for your mental health, I beg of you, use my website!
What's this whole anthology thing about?
Great question. Really amazing, truly. I’m not collecting all these letters for nothing. I’m trying to figure out something from these letters. The finished anthology will be a collection of letters that helped me find that thing out, as well as an analysis of these letters, all while telling an overarching story. But don’t worry about your anonymity! I’ll only be using the words you wrote, not the person who wrote them! And, if you choose to provide your age and/or where you’re from, I might use that too. Know that by submitting the form with your letter, you are allowing me to use it in the anthology. It will be really cool! You can also opt in to receiving a notification when the anthology is ready for purchase (with all proceeds going back into the project and a charity that I have yet to pick).
Why do you need my contact information?
We don’t need your contact information, silly. That would take out the anonymity if we knew who you were! However, if you would like to (1) receive a copy of your letter, (2) send your letter to somebody through TWMA, or (3) receive a notification when the anthology is done cooking, we will need to have either your email address or phone number. There’s just no other way. But I pinky promise that we won’t use it for anything other than those 3 reasons up there. We won’t bombard you with emails or sell your information or use it in the anthology. Neither of us have time for any of that. In addition, we also don't have to have your age or city, but we include it as an option on the form to add more of a story and context to your letter, especially as it may be featured in the anthology!
How can I contact you with other questions?

I’ll get back to you with an answer as soon as I can :)
Made with love
